If you wish to join the community, there are two steps that must be followed, as pointed out on our UserInfo.

1. You must comment on the membership request post.
2. You must request to join the community.

Failure to complete both of these steps will result in your membership request sitting as pending, or straight out rejection.

Membership is re-opened on a moderated status, to welcome the start of the new and final season. If you’d like to join, please review the requirements below. If you are already a member, you do not have to join again!

If you are rejected, we reply to your comment with our reasons. 
If you were rejected and are unsure why, you probably did not post a comment here answering the required questions.

IMPORTANT: In order to be accepted, you MUST fulfil both steps - commenting AND joining. If you fail to complete both steps, your application will be rejected.

After allowing users to apply for membership on a moderated basis we are now moving to a referral system.  If you'd like to join, you MUST be referred by a current member.

The below membership requirements still apply.  Please do not refer or seek a referral if you are not in good lj standing.

If you meet the requirements and know a current member that is willing to refer you, please have your referrer comment to this post with your LJ name.

Aspiring Members:  DO NOT solicit, bug or in any way bother a member you do not know for a referral. 

Current Members:  DO NOT refer a user you do not know or cannot vouch for.  Do not trade a referral for any type of good or service.  Only refer a user that you know and trust; if the referee acts in a poor manner it will reflect poorly on you as well!

I've cleaned up the remaining applications this morning. Several of you will need to check your invitations page to accept. We'll be changing things up this coming week, after the finale tonight (!!)

Okay, so right now it's just me going through all of these applications. I am going as fast as I can, I promise!
I know a lot of you are waiting to catch up with us, so I'll keep this going. However, commenting back to you with an "approved" is slowing me down -

so IF YOU DO NOT HEAR FROM ME - PLEASE ASSUME YOU ARE APPROVED AND CHECK YOUR INVITE PAGE. This will allow me to go much faster.

As many of you know, we recently closed the community due to several issues that were, eventually, found uncontrollable.
We sincerely apologize for the long delay we've had in re-opening, we've been incredibly busy.
